Monoclonal antibodies against the rat GluA2 AMPA receptor (14B11 and 15F1)

Description:

Technology Overview

The 14B11 and 15F1 antibodies are mouse-derived monoclonal antibodies that bind with high affinity and specificity to the rat GluA2 AMPA receptor.  They are exceptional reagents for labeling the intact receptor under native (biological) conditions and can be used for a wide variety of imaging applications. They are not useful, however, for Western blotting, because they recognize 3 dimensional epitopes on the folded, intact receptor.
