Technology Overview

Videocall formats offer the opportunity to easily record visual and audio information to assess and quantify acoustic, and linguistic markers along with body language.  The current dataset was collected using semi-structured conversations in videocalls and is paired with clinical data assessing cognitive function and weekly survey data to assess psychological well-being and social isolation. Together, this dataset represents a rare resource allowing for the extraction of conversational markers, facial expression and body languages that could predict cognitive status and emotional well-being.
